Our Mission

To connect the worlds business community and their content with the global media industry based solely on relevance.

Our Vision

Reveela sees a world where enterprises large or small, across the globe, can immediately access niche industry publishers and contribute and collaborate on content for the cross purposes of adding benefit to the business community. This vision, of connecting every niche publisher, both online and off, to the global business community comes through a need to inspire and invigorate journalism while accepting traditional practices as an inherent good, yet inspiring journalism to reach its ideals, rethinking some of these practices because of its emphasis on participation from multiple sources, collaborative community building and increased transparency.

Our Values

Honesty,   Pride,   Loyalty,   Quality,   Determination,   Integrity,   Individuality,   Relationships,   Work Ethic and Passion

Reveela is a company that aims to put its members first when it comes to making important decisions. Millions of professional conversations and shared insights are being exchanged every day on Reveela's Services (defined in the User Agreement). To ensure these discussions help our members be more productive and successful, Reveela has put in place these Professional Community Policies outlining the activities that are acceptable on the Services, and what is inappropriate and may be stopped by Reveela. These rules are intended to provide guidance and restrictions governing your use of, and participation in, our services.

The Dos and Don'ts

We want you to express yourself freely and use Reveela to reflect who you are, and what your love, think and stand for.

Do not post content that contravenes copyright laws. Provide full backstories to your content and allow publishers, journalists and other community members to understand the context of your story.

Hello, advertiser! Welcome to Reveela's advertising policies. Your advertising should be engaging and compelling …. But more importantly it should be legal. These rules are meant to encourage you to create high quality, compelling content and advertising. These rules are not legal advice. Google is a good place to start of you’re in need this!!

The Rules for Advertisers

General Rules

  • Follow the spirit of our policies:

Reveela is a platform to share newsworthy content. If its newsworthy, the media have all the tools at their disposal to pick this up. There’s no need to violate our rules and policies. They’re in place to be clear, concise and to help everyone in every community. Don’t sneak in ads disguised as content. We’ll only remove them and your account will be banned.

  • Be a good Reveela citizen – You’ll be rewarded for it:

You’re not just an advertiser, you’re a member of the community. So, like all content on Reveela, your ads must comply with our Community Guidelines. If you’re abiding by our rules and being a good Reveela citizen, you’ll be rewarded for it.

  • Don’t over do it:

Remember Reveela is for newsworthy content. If your creating content, try focussing on the ‘newsworthy’ aspect, not the salesy part. If its engaging and readable, you’ve far more chance of being engaged by our media partners.

Some pointers:

  • Be Honest, giving an accurate description of the product or service
  • Be legal
  • Be decent
  • Be truthful
  • Be socially responsible (not encouraging illegal, unsafe or anti-social behaviour)

Advertising to businesses is covered by the Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations. As well as being accurate and honest, you must not make misleading comparisons with competitors, that includes:

  • Using a competitor’s logo or trademark, or something very similar
  • Comparing your product with a competitor’s product that’s not the same.

Follow our community guidelines:

  • You’re not just an advertiser, you’re a member of the community. So, like all content on Reveela, your ads must comply with our Community Guidelines.

Security

About Account Security

To help keep your account secure, we recommend the following best practices:

  • Use a strong password that you don’t use on other websites.
  • Be cautious of suspicious links and always make sure you’re on reveela.com before your enter your login information.
  • Never give your username and password out to third parties, especially those promising to get you connections/followers or make you money
  • Make sure your computer software, including your browser, is up-to-date with the most recent upgrades and anti-virus software.
  • Check to see if your account has been compromised.

Password Strength

Create a strong and unique password for your Reveela account. You should also create an equally strong and unique password for the email address associated with your Reveela account.

Dos

  • Do create a password at least 10 characters long. Longer is better
  • Do use a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols.
  • Do use a different password for each website you visit.
  • Do keep your password in a safe place. Consider using password management software to store all of your login information securely.

Don'ts

  • Do not use personal information in your password such as phone numbers, birthdays etc.

Signup Verification

You will receive an immediate e mail from the Reveela team once you have registered. This allows us to know your e mail address is legitimate and confirms your identity while enhancing your experience within Reveela.

  • A verified email prevents abuse.
  • A verified email is a verified person behind the email.
  • A verified email prevents some simple bots.

In our messages to you, we include a security footer message with your full username to help you distinguish authentic Reveela emails from "phishing" email messages. Phishing is the fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information or data, such as usernames, passwords and credit card details, by disguising oneself as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication, then linking you to a fraudulent site instead of Reveela. ‘Phishing’ e mails often look like standard e mails, but unlikely to have this personal information added. Of course, this doesn’t provide any guarantees but it does provide you with an additional layer of security.

If you are in doubt, it is best practice to open your Reveela account in a new browser window/tab or even a different browser; then check your Reveela inbox, notifications or ‘my membership’ to verify any messages. ‘Phishing’ attacks intend to obtain sensitive information such as passwords, or credit card information. Reveela will NEVER ask you for credit card information or personal information unless within the confines of our platform. If you suspect that you've received a "phishing" email impersonating LinkedIn, please raise a ticket at https://reveela.com/contact-us/ selecting ‘security’.

12. DATA PROTECTION AND INFORMATION GATHERING

12.1 Privacy Policy sets out how we use and protect any information you give us when you use this Website. As a rule, we don't disclose any personal information to third parties, unless we have your permission or are specifically required to by law. However, on rare occasions where there appears to be a clear need to safeguard the welfare of a member, it may be necessary to contact relevant authorities (including but not limited to police) about a clearly identifiable member and their associated User Content.

13. AFFILIATE ADVERTISING

13.1 Each affiliate will have an agreed contract where they are able to either distribute Memberships to their customers and members (Membership Affiliates) or earn commission through Membership upgrades (Commission Affiliates).

13.2 When the agreed contract period ends, affiliates are required to renew in order to continue receiving future commissions. Renewal will automatically maintain existing discounts and commissions unless new rates have been negotiated. If affiliates choose not to renew, they will no longer be considered as part of the affiliate program and will consequently no longer receive any commissions.

13.3 If the Premium Membership customers of our affiliates fail to renew their Membership within 28 days after their premium plan expires, they will be automatically removed from the affiliate dashboard. In such cases, Reveela may reach out to them directly.

13.4 Promotion coupon codes and Membership links provided to Affiliates are subject to terms and conditions attached to that Promotion. In the event that these Promotional offers are utilised by individuals other than the intended recipients, it may affect the eligibility for Affiliate commission.

13.5 When a customer submits a request for cancellation or refund, it may have consequences for affiliates who have obtained commissions on the respective transaction. In case of mis-selling, any commissions earned on the refunded amount may be deducted from the balance of the affiliate.

13.6 The networks that we use to manage our affiliate programs have advanced tracking features that can track the affiliates unique links and ensure that they are receiving the appropriate commissions for sales. These links are tied to the affiliates unique ID within The Service. If a customer signs up to The Service and completes a Purchase without using the affiliate's exclusive referral link, no commission will be received.

13.7 In order to ensure that commission payments are securely processed and directly transferred to the correct Affiliate bank account, it is mandatory for all Affiliates to undergo an onboarding process on our secure payment platform, Stripe.

13.8 Commission will be calculated based on customer Purchases and automatically transferred to your nominated account. Please note that any applicable Stripe fees (https://stripe.com/gb/pricing) will be deducted from the commission amount.

13.9 Membership codes that have been pre-Purchased must be redeemed by customers within a 30-day period from the time they are issued by affiliates.

13.10 If a customer who has registered through an affiliate link decides to delete their account or opts to Purchase a Membership via a different referral link, they will no longer appear on the affiliate dashboard. In these instances, no commissions will be awarded if users choose to Purchase a Membership using another Affiliate link.

13.2 Reveela.com carries some affiliate marketing links, which means we may earn commission on sales of some products when users click through a link from the site. Our editorial content is NOT influenced by affiliate partnerships. You may not post affiliate links without our prior permission.

      • The reasons for your objection.

14.6 We will review each objection on its merits and pending our inquiries, may remove or disable access to the relevant material from The Service.
